Hmmm.... I kinda concur on the RSMS timings since my 457 was supposed to
take 1-2 months while the RSMS is 3 months + 3 weeks, guess thats just 1
month and 3 weeks more on a worse case scenario.
I got mine in around 11-12 days, but I could just be lucky since
nomination was pre-approved and I believe my employer keeps following my
application up with DIMIA so that could've helped.
I didnt know there are others waiting for months on 457s.
At any rate, if the employer is not fairly confident to get a 457 fast
enough, then RSMS is a fairly safe bet (around 3 months + 3 weeks for
nomination). But I guess if you're looking at 3 months + 3 meeks versus
a 1-2 months processing time, it would be easy to choose the 1-2 months
esp not knowing all the issues behind it.
But for the TRAs, are they really fast, I thought this takes
months also?
