Many thanks.
Our age seems to be going against us -typical.
So going for the 457 seems to be a way of getting in, even if its only
for 4 years, 8, 12,16 etc.,
Its not as good as a permanent visa, but we probably wouldnt get that
one if we tried. So at least we can go to Australia on the 457 as
opposed to not going at all. Somethings are better than nothing.
I have a brother out there who has been there for 35 years, thought that
may carry some weight ?
Oh Well, will have to see the outcome of the 457, if we get a yes, give
it a go, and if we have to come back then we will have to come back, but
hopefully we can get a few years out of it.
We have no children so thought our application would be easy, no schools
to look for or pay for etc.,
Knowing our luck we will absolutely love it (if we ever get there) and
be absolutely gutted at coming back to the UK.
Anyone know someone who has had to come back ?
