They suggested the Perth area as apparently that had the biggest
shortage in his trade with all the mines there etc., giving an area for
us to look at housing called Freemantle. They said if he didnt like it
there they would move him on to another area as they could virtually
place him anywhere in Australia. The one thing I have noted from their
correspondence is that being as they are sponsoring his visa, then he
must stay with them, otherwise he would have to find another sponsor and
apply for a new visa, or get out of the country?
Do you think we wouldnt get permanent residency because of our age?
Do you think we should be okay for the 457 on our age? Surely they
wouldnt have come all this way, offered him the job, knowing full well
he was 45 if there was no chance of getting it granted. The Company
come to the Uk 4 times per year to interview so I hope they know what
they are doing?
