Thanks George. Going into a bit of a panic now. Partner is a
plater/welder with 25 years experience and is a forman on the power
stations. Dont think this would be classed as being "truly exceptional".
The Company came to England to interview him and offered him the job
immediately saying they had a great shortage of his experience etc., in
Australia. Want to send him to the Perth Area. I did query our ages in
the interview and they said it wasnt a problem as you needed to be that
age for the experience they were looking for. I am really panicking
about alot of things now that the application has gone off (agents
inform us it was lodged on 27th July). They say that visa can be renewed
every 4 years but what if they dont want to sponsor him after this 4
years, or maybe after 8 years etc, or what if they have ceased to exist,
we would then have to come back.
