we subscribe to www.outboundpublishing.co.uk and get the australian news
which is full of agents and removal companies, visa info etc.

We emailed all the agents in the paper and we also emailed everyone
who came recommended. It totalled 50!!! some didnt bother replying,
one agent refused to take us on at this time but directed us to some
other agents and gave us a bit more info.In particular looking at the
mara number.

Eventually we settled on one who didnt talk all flowery and was a
straight talker, had plenty of experience in the field and confirmed
what other established agents had said. So we have decided on Ian
Harrop. But as we have started to gather our info and printed off the
booklets, the more we look at it the more we build our own confidence in
doing it ourselves.

Some of the agents who hadnt been in the job long ie a couple of years
told me to go through as an office manager but when the more experienced
agents considered my current job they gave me a different title.
Therefore, triple, quadruple checking of info ultimately will have saved
me from having a declined visa. (thats when we put it in!!!) at the
moment my skills are being assessed at vetassess as directed by a number
of experienced agents.

anyway, i hope you find an agent you are happy with and i really would
recommend doing your homework with them.

Good Luck
