Hi
There is no need to change the ASCO code as the experience requirement
is 2 years skilled experience, in the previous 3 year period, in ANY
skilled occupation on the SOL. There is no "closely related"
requirement between your nominated occupation and recent work experience
as there is for a nominated occupation for 60 points where relevancy can
determine whether 5 or 10 points be awarded for having 3 years skilled
experience in the previous 4 year period.
So it is only a cosmetic change you are seeking, trying to get your
nominated occupation to exactly match your recent work experience. This
principle is the same whether you are nominating a VETASSESS 40 or 50
point occupation as the main applicant or for spouse points.
Regards
Tony
