Hi Phoenix

The important proviso of my previous post is "as long as they get let
into Australia". There is a risk if they are questioned on arrival
at the airport that they could be assessed as non-genuine visitors
which would, at best, mean that they will allow them entry but put
the 8503 condition on their visa (by way of issuing a new visitor
visa or possibly a border visa) or, at worst, put them back on a
flight to the UK. If this were to happen, I think Jeremy would be
the Star and not me.

I'm sure Jeremy does not need me to defend him but I'm sure his post was
meant to emphasize the risk that is involved - anyway, it sounds like
you are getting professional advice and will be aware of all the
implications for all the different options you have.

Regards

Tony
