Hi everyone, this is a great site, especially for someone like me who is
only just starting with my application!
I just wondered if anyone would be kind enough to spare a few minutes to
help me get a few things clear re. my application.
Brief rundown - applying for the Skilled Sponsored subclass 139, partner
has cousin in Darwin and I have the skills (Graphic Designer). Not using
a migration agent as really cant afford to and I am quite organised so
think I can cope! especially with a bit of help from you guys!
My questions are:
1. De-facto, we have b een together in a relationship for 18 months and
living together for 6 months, I have been advised that it has to be 1
year LIVING TOGETHER to be considered, in which case we cannot apply
until May 2006 and I am scared that after all the slog the visa may have
changed by then! The sublass 139 visa is going to change next year (not
sure of exact date) and we would prefer not to live in Darwin (as there
is little work there for me!).
So the question is... should we go ahead and start getting together all
the application now ready to apply in May 2006 or would be people
recommend we can apply earlier - any advice please would be so helpful!!
Have got all the letters, photos etc to prove we have been together that
time, just not sure if this is enough and dont want to apply without a
GOOD chance of winning as its our dream.
Thanks so much everyone who has any help!
