Dear Whim,
I have asked this question sometimes ago and did not get any explicit or
clear answer, yet I tried to contact several persons to collect their
experiences and got them to gether, and as far as I heared , your boss
would be asked regarding: (not in any order):
-Company's profile
-Your skills
-Your file (including photo, appointments and other regualr stuff)
-Your attendance sheet (in my case seems terrible!)
-Company's projects and your role in them
-Your qualification
-How did they hire you?
-How long did you work for them?
-Your social communication skills (!)
-Payments
-And maybe the most important one ; the authenticity of reference
letters!
Note: Be sure that he is reachable via provided contacts!.
I found that in most cases 2-3 persons (even 4),from their embassy or
commission in your country, will get there and as I heared it's your
boss's right to provide how much information.... do not forget that your
previous boss is not compelled to present the detail of company and
financial issues or any sensitive data.
I will ask him to keep some information confidential....but it seems
very crucial to keep the relationship between you and all the previous
companies.
This was all things I had collected , hope work for you...
Goodluck
