Can't actually believe I am writing this at last. But we got an email
from our CO today to say that our visa has been granted!
A letter from DIMIA went missing 3 months ago requesting further medical
info. We found out 2 weeks ago, got the letter from the doc, faxed it
to them on Friday, and they granted visa today! So were expecting to
wait another couple of weeks. We were in total shock and just stared at
the computer, saying "So is that it? Are we Australian now?!"
How brilliant! We are leaving in Jan 2006, and still have a whole house
to sort out! Let the stress begin!
Good luck to all those still waiting. It will come, our journey started
over a year ago.
