LL,

The 1221 is a generic form, so you'll have to use some common sense and
excuse some of the questions.

Just give the obvious answers ("to be with hubby" won't be too far from
what I'd recommend). "Indefinite" sounds good when asked how long you
want to stay in Australia - if that's what you plan to do; but I'd say
give your present address as the place you intend to stay.

Are you funding your trip? Just answer yes or no, depending on your
situation.
