Hi Matt,
I'm a GP. Out here on a working holiday visa from Birmingham at the
moment but waiting for my permanent residency visa to arrive...
Anyway, my working holiday was easy enough to get online - the only
problem was a slight delay as I had to have medicals etc because of my
likely employment. If your SIL is not going to work in healthcare or
with children then prob won't need a medical in which case the visa is
granted by e mail within 24-48 hours.
Once granted, my visa gave me 12 months within which to enter Australia
and once I entered it allows me 12 months in Australia - multi entry.
But if I leave Australia I can't "credit" that time to my 12 months.
Hope that helps.
Where are you going to work?
Madhu
