You might also want to check out the american expresss traveller
cheque cards. You can use these the same as a debit card anywhere i
the world- some services cannot be paid for though. Also saves carryin
around cash and can be topped up via a regular debit card online i
needs be. Not sure on the turnaround time though your best bet is t
check with an amex travel agent or your bank as they currently do the
too. Your husbands a lucky chap he gets to put his spanners in
suitcase I have been told ship it or leave it .. and they are blood
expensive too.
