Hi Techno

Id delay your meds if I were you...if you are non-modl it will be a
while before you get your CO Im afraid, we are Early Aug 05 and no sign
of a CO yet....you only get a max year after the Police Checks or the
meds(which ever the earlier) ...so I'd delay until under a year prior to
your first intended trip...I don't think immi can be flexible enough to
extend the initial visa period....

www.austimeline.com should give you a good idea for timelines, COs are
currently being allocated for Late June/Early July for non-modl 136ers

I say whats the hurry, Oz isn't going anywhere :-)
