Dear SMK,
You don't send the passports anywhere. Your visa is granted
electronically and for UK and other ETA eligible passport holders you
just travel to Australia and take the passports to an office of the
department after arrival. DIMA has also moved to a no label arrangement
with the former resident visas, and I guess eventually all the proof
you'll ever get will be online.
Having said all that, if you're desperate for visas now you can send
the grant email and the passports to Australia House and I'm sure
they'll oblige.
