Thanks, Meryl ... I called Immigration (and they are very nice there)
and they told me right now it is over six months wait from the US .. I
would have to contact the Embassy there and do interviews and all that
through them. They also told me if I went back and got another ETA, I
would probably be interrogated at the airport as to why I would want to
be spending so much time in Australia.

Because I am from the US, I can readily understand why precautions must
be taken .. I have nothing to hide, but it makes me nervous, because I
know there are a lot of times people get held up even though there are
no real problems. I guess I need to adapt the Aussie culture of *no
worries* .. ha ha!!
