I spent 25,000AUD in the first six months I was here, and I'm a bit of a
thrifty sort. Things have slowing down here for the past year so work isn't
as plentiful as it has been. You might also find the wages here are much
lower than you are used to, at least that's what I hear alot and have
experienced myself here. So basically bring as much as you possibly can or
things might be a bit tight for you and yours.
