Think if I lose I'll just tell him that we can't import any shoes and
I'll just have to buy all new once we arrive. Maybe even tell him that
women can't bring clothes too. (Hubby's blond, so he may fall for it)
I really hope it doesn't take too long for you guys. It doesn't seem
fair to me that your country of birth should impact things that way.
Your OH has obviously lived in UK for enough time for the 2 of you to
meet, date, marry and decide to move to Oz together. In all that time
if he has been of good character then why should it matter where he
was born? Maybe I am just a little naive about the world. I don't
know. I think my problem is that I like and trust everyone until I
actually see some proof of wrongdoing. Either way, I hope it all
works out for you guys.
