immigration when a recent graduate? Posted on: Wed, 19 Jul 2006 16:59:07 +0100

Hi all!

Im so thrilled to have finally found a forum related to immigration
ok, back to the point in question. I am a recent graduate in Ecolog
and Environmental Biology, specialising in marine and fresh wate
biology. I have recently returned back to the UK after travelling, an
spending a year in Australia on my working holiday visa. During my tim
spent in Australia I participated as a research assistant (voluntary
for 10 weeks studying the Northern Migration of the Humpback Whale.
have also held a position at Underwater World for thre
months...paid.(three months the maximum time allowed due to vis
restrictions) I graduated in July 2004 and so have not had a
opportunity to work a full 24months within my field, as on the skille
visa marine biologists only score 50point? Is there any way that I ca
still apply and gain points..taking into account I am so recentl
graduated?? Also i have an cousin who is willing to sponsor me, i
assistance with my migration under skilled visa. Does anyone know i
this will be possible. I have also been in 2.5yr relationship with a
eligible Kiwi citizan, who has lived in Australia for ten years, woul
this help my cause??

Any advice would be much appreciated.
