Have been lurking for over five years - this is my first and probably
last post....

Got THE email from my agent (George Lombard - absolutely fantastic with
a fantastic staff) - that our visas had been granted.


Applied: July 31, 2005
PCC / Meds req: April 19, 2006
PCCs sent: June 6, 2006
Meds sent: July 3, 2006
Grant: July 19 2006.

Our application was unusual in that I included my aged, widowed mother

as an adult dependant / dependent parent (making it easier for future
searches to find this post).

We are headed for Sydney.................

To all those waiting - I wish I could get into your CO's mailer and
send out that email!!! :)
