Hi there,
I'm myself in IT and have recently (just yesterday) got my PR
Visa for NZ.
Simple answer is that you wouldnt get these extra points if you dont
have one of the following:
1. Offer of Employment from a company in NZ
2. Already working in a company in NZ
You got to make up 140 points (it was 100 points when I applied last
year) if you want you EOI (Expression of Interest) to be selected
from the Pool.
I'm not sure but I guess you'll also have chances to be selected if your
Points are somewhere between 120 and 140 points. If you an offer of
employment then your EOI will be selected automatically ...
