I am having an exchange presently with the Department of Immigration as
to the number of hours SIR visaholders must have worked each week to be
eligible for one of the usual permanent visa pathways (eg onshore
Skilled - State Nominated Independent).

So ... how many hours are SIR visaholders working per week, and what is
your understanding of the requirement?
