Subject: Initial Entry... Posted on: Tue, 22 Aug 2006 16:01:11 +0000 (UTC)

Hi guys,
Can anyone guide me on the following:

I am making an initial entry into AUS in OCT. I dont have plans to
settle permanently right now as I'm still working in Canada. I would be
there only for about 2 weeks for my initial entry validation, after
which I would come back to canada.

Kindly let me know what all do I need to take along with me for the
purpose of my initial entry process.
Also do I need to take with me sufficient cash/ funds as proof , even
though I do not intend to settle permanently at the moment..
Moreover, is there a minimum limit as to how long do I have to stay
upon initial entry and are there any procedures/formalities which I
have to complete while am there.

Kindly advice on these.
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
- Mike.
