Many case officers have difficulty understanding their own rules on this
subject. Don't be surprised if you have to fight this battle again
when you apply for permanent residence. And depending on the wording
of your court order, it may be a harder battle.
Out of interest, why is your employer not sponsoring for a
migration visa?
