Thankyou for replying about this matter.

I had to write a letter recently stating that 'I am withdrawing my
application to remain permanently in Australia' I was advised by the
Hobart regional office to do this.

I presume that this means that my visa hasn't technically been
cancelled..just my application has been withdrawn?!

Its all very confusing and I am panicing over what to do next !
