I met a guy here who had a similar situation. However as there was a
broken jaw and cheekbone, He was charged. In RSA if you are trained in
martial arts the courts consider that the same as being armed. He is
here now as a PR. So I think it should not be a problem. I dont think
DIMA care about what you tell them. They take the PCC as the final word,
but give it a try. On the website or a related legal site somewhere it
mentions convicted for a period of more than 3 months without option of
a fine as being the criteria. It has to be a conviction is what I
understand, which you dont have.
