Hi pearly, I can understand to some extent how you are feeling right
now. We have a health issue with my youngest child. We too are 136 modl
and everything else on the aplication is straight forward. But right
from the outset we knew that our sons health could be an issue. We have
been assigned a case officer and went for meds on the 14th November, we
needed further reports from our sons cardiologist. The meds have now
been sent on friday. So now we sit and wait, there is nothing else we
can do. Our son has a VSD and a sub aortic ridge. He has also had
recurrent chest infections due to reflux and aspiration. Touch wood, he
hasn't been ill for 12 months now. However he will need 6 monthly checks
for the rest of his life and there is a possibility he will need
openheart surgery at some point in his life. However he is now very well
in himself. All the tests he had were fine at the last check up. But we
are biting our nails waiting for the visa cos we too are scared witless.
Although our situations are different, I can sympathise with how you are
feeling, so chin up, we will get through this!!
