Got a great deal of info from this thread....thanks all. Feeling a
little deflatd though. I am expecting my PR to be granted late Feb /
early march 07 and i've been on a 457 here for the last 4 years. The
new rule was perfect for people like me. But now I have to wait 2 full
years :(

JAJ, do u think there could be a chance where we'd get a chance at
opting to which rule we can be classified against ? :) just wishful
thinking I guess.
