I cam out here last Easter and had a telephone interview for a job when
I got back.

I didn't use an agent and found the paperwork pretty straightforward. I
also applied online wheich meant I was able to track the progress of my
application.

Once the company had got approved as a sponsor, they then had to
nominate me for the job. I then booked the medicals (we did full ones
as that was what the company requested). Once the approval of
nomination cam back, I then lodged my application. I printed it all off
first so tat I had it completed. This also gave me time to get all the
relevant documents ready.

By the time I was allocated a case officer, the medicals had been done
and were sent with my number on it and therefore meaning I had jumped a
few weeks rather than trying to book once the number came through.

We came out here in July and am now in the process of applying for a PR
visa through the company.

If you need more info, PM me and I will help as much as I can.
