Investor Retirement Visa - Designated Investment? Posted on: Sun, 28 Jan 2007 10:05:52 +0000

I'm just looking into the investment retirement visa for my parents in
law.
Can anyone tell me about the designated investment? I know that they
need $500,000 to invest if they live in a regional area - but who
decides what it is invested in?

For example, can they invest it in property or a business or does the
Government specify that it is invested in certain shares?

Anyone help please you lovely people :)
