AOA adeel,
here is the response:
>1. I want to include my parents ( mother and father ) as dependents in
>the application. But when using the online e-visa system and while I enter my
>parents information in "Migrating Dependents" section and select the "Marital
>Status" as Married, the system does not allow me to do so, stating that the

>now I have entered my parents information in the "Other Family Members"
>section of the online form.
No idea, i let someone else to answer this one. One openion is that if you
add people above 45, it makes your case week......
>2. I have filled the complete form, have not lodged it yet, how can I
>attach documents to the online application. Will that be allowed after I
>lodge?
when you lodged your application, after about a day you'll receive an auto
generated email from the department. This email will have a check list of
documents as well as the the method through which you can upload your
documents... It is almost the same as paper based... but dont worry the email
has it all.....
>3. Just like we have checklist for paper based application, is there any
>document checklist for online application as well? are checklist same for
>both type of applications?
covered in last answer
>4. Roughly after how many days should I expect the acknowledgment when I
>submit the application.
within 8 to 12 hours
>5. I have read somewhere that FORM 47A cannot be filled online, it has to
>be submitted through post. Is that true? and should I use Transaction
>Reference Number if I post this form as for Manual applications there is a
>FILE NUMBER?
I dont think you'll be asked to fill form 47A as all the dependents info is
included in the online application. However there is another form 1221 that
has to be filled by each dependent. but dont worry the document check list
has it all..... it will tell you which form you'll have to submit.
hope i have answered your queries.......
