Hi,
on
http://www.austimeline.com/
I can see that processing times vary between 6 months and 12 months
mostly for skilled independent visa, registered before September
(class 136).
However I can't figuere out based on which criteria the case officers
are assigned in some cases so quickly (e.g. 5 months) while other
cases take long time (11 months).
MODL and low risk / high risk country at the end of the day seem not
to make too much difference.
I'm afraid as the processing will move to applications submitted in
July/August last year, it will even slow down more as a big peak of
applications arrived at that time in DIAC.
I'm MODL and low risk country and more than 8 months passed already
without case officer assigned while others are high risk but got visa
much more quick.
It furthermore seems that those applications submitted AFTER September
get processed more quick than the ones submitted before. Most of
September applications had been processed within 4 months time. Nice
to see that things improving but hard to understand for people who
applied earlier and have to wait longer. |
