Subject: Re: Some help with visa 175 please Posted on: Thu, 2 Jul 2009 15:44:33 +0000

thanks for your help, I was getting worried that I would have to ask all
my brothers and sisters to get health checked when none of them intend
to move to OZ or even know I'm applying. Of course I will tell
themwhen I'm a little more certain that it may happen.

Please note that you must include your non dependant migrating family
member in form of 'other family members'. Skip the first two steps
'Migrating dependants' and 'Non Migrating dependants'. Then you don't
have to take them for medical.

Regarding the 3rd post about advising me to seek sponsorship to convert
the 175 application to 176. I have no idea where to start looking. Any
idea's and is it hard to convert the 175 application to 176 once the
application is lodged?

You may start from the following link for SS

'Skilled – Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 176)'

I'm a little annoyed about the information of paper based lodging
applications vs online, since I payed £250 getting my official doc's
certified only to find out that they don't really need to and can just
be scanned.

I will lodge my application online and post the certified copies to
Adelaide as mentioned in the above mail.

Why would you send the hard copies if you can scan and upload them
within an hour. Please note that you will get 28 official days for
providing the documents. DIAC may not open your courier. What about
courier bill.;)

The process is designed for online submission. Sending the documents in
hard copies will not help your case in any means rather making more
delay. I strongly suggest you for the scanned copy to be submitted.
