I dont see why you should not be able to use a "change in
cirfcumstance" form to do that. I must admit that I have never used
this form for this purpose. May be others can shed some light on
this.
Note that an the information provided in a visa application becomes
part of an applicant's immigration records and can be reviewed by the
DUIC for (in) consistency when future applications for family members
are being assessed and considered.
