Subject: Tips on what to put in the letter for a waiver of 8503 Posted on: Thu, 5 Nov 2009 08:50:00 +0000

Im currently in Australia on a 12 month visitors visa. They put a 8503
(No further stay) on my visa and I really, really need to have it
waived.

My BF is an Aussie citizen and he sponsored my long term stay and
aparently this is also one of the reasons why they put that on one my
visa.

What can I do to get it waived? I know I have to send in a request but
what can I say to make them change their minds? To me this is my home
and my family :brokenheart and I dont want to have to leave them to
mooch off and stay with friends for 6 months while they make a decision
on a new application.

I know Im more then eligeble for a de facto visa, why do I have to get
kicked out of my home to apply for it? Im well educated and come from a
low-risk country... It is just so unfair. :tearhair

Any tips on what I can say to make them change their minds?
