Subject: [Q:] Self-employed work experience Posted on: Tue, 14 Oct 2003 08:06:33 +0100

I have been an IT contractor for the last 3 years. I have my own company of
which I am the sole employee and I contract out my services to other
companies. I have had a number of contracts, each ranging from 3 to 12
months in length. I still have copies of each of the contracts but the job
description is usually a bit vague in these (it usually just says something
like "Systems Engineer" rather than giving any detailed breakdown of
responsibilities. Would it be acceptable for me to write my own employment
contract on my companies headed paper if I intend applying for permanent
residence under the skilled worker class?
