Who's fault that they do not speak much English or any English at all? If
you go to Chinatown, or the Pacific Mall (Steeles/Kennedy), you gotta bring
with you a dictionary!!! I personally met Chinese, in Toronto since the
50's, with extremely limited English language knowledge. And all this when
taxpayers pay for FREE English language classes for everybody new to this
country!!!

In capitalism EVERYBODY is hard-working, if you really hold a job for more
than a short while, it does not matter that you are Chinese, East-Indian,
Black or White, you are just an ordinary employee and as an employee you
gotta agree or not with the work schedule (among other things). Therefore I
do not buy your argument that Chinese are hired by Chinese-owned companies
in Canada.
>And, their wages are too oftenly lower than their local Canadians
counterparts.
If the Chinese owner (employer) rips them off, why they are not quitting and
go to other, non-Chinese, company?

Very true, and everybody knows that, 99% of all Chinese-owned companies in
Canada are acting as IMPORTERS only, all merchandise is coming directly from
China (the vast majority), HK and Taiwan. But also the quality is very, very
low, and also everybody knows that.
>They need employee speaking Chinese. This should explain why they tend to
hire mostly Chinese.
Really? But what a forklift operator, or the shipper/receiver, or the truck
driver have to do with all the paper work, the closing of a contract between
a Chinese-owned company in Toronto and other in Peking? You should rather
say that as long as a Chinese owns a company everybody in that company MUST
speak Cantonese or Mandarin, regardless of the REAL official language (s) in
effect in the country...

And you hardly see non-Chinese people in those areas!!!

Who's ALL? Please EXCLUDE me from "your" kind of Toronto, "your" kind of
Canada.
