Currently I am in the US with my family. Is there a way to apply for a
PR card from here? or I must go to Canada to apply for it? I know that I
must appear to collect the card once its ready. But, is there a way if I
can apply from here?
Or if I go alone there and apply for both me and my wife's cards, is
it possible?

PR card from here?
------ if you or your friend know any notary/lawyer in Canada then send
the copy of your first page of passport, Photographs(2) copy of landing
paper and completed PR application Signed and the supplementary form
Signed, your friend /relative can get these documents notarized and will
pay the fees in Canada bank will attach the fee receipt and can mail it
to PR card processing unit from Canada and provide your friend address
on forms , after 8-10 weeks your friend will receive the PR card pick up
letter by mail and will inform you and you can go and pick up the card
or I must go to Canada to apply for it?
----- Better if you come to Canada and apply it will take 10 minute for
photo, 10 minute for papers to be notarized and 10 minute to pay the
fees in bank then seal the envelope and go to post office and mail it.
Just one-day work

the original documents with you. If you find any notary/lawyer to sign
in your wife absence then it can be done.
I read a post that one Canada immigration lawyer has also office in NJ
USA, he visit the US office after 10 days and stamps all the documents
and then sends the documents from Canada. go to immigrationportal you
