Subject: Re: Has anyone gone to Buffalo to check in person what is going on with his/her file? Posted on: Thu, 18 Dec 2003 06:22:51 +0000

The procedure for Quebec takes less time than the federal one. There are
numerous postings in this forum of people who have applied with CSQ end
got their visas from Buffalo in about 5 months.

And, I have a good reason to want to see the immigration officer. He
made a serious error. Do you suggest that I wait for another 8 months?
If I hadn’t waited and had requested my CAIPS sooner, I could have
gotten my visa by now. So, in my opinion, “Be patient” is not always the
best advice.
