Hello, yes they do. You can obtain a "Change of Address" booklet
including a form at any Canada Post outlet. The change will cost you
33.00 plus G.S.T. and is valid for 6 months. This is recommnended
because a 3 month change of address costs 3 dollars less, so it is a
much better deal for 6 months. to complete this form you will be
required to show the postal clerk 2 pieces of
identification(example-driver's licence, health card, social insurance
number, birth certificate, etc) and also provide a contact number as
well. After you change of address expires, you have the option of
renewing it, but most people find that 6 months is sufficient to set
up for their new address. One other thing..you may ask for change of
address cards which you can mail out to family, friends or
individuals, companies, etc. of your choice. You simply write you old
and new address on the back ,and then add the appropiate postage to
each one you decide to mail. Some customers choose to use this method
instead of paying the fee for an official change of address through
Canada Post, well others choose the official change, as well as
mailing out these individual cards. There are also temporary change of
address services available. |
