My understanding of the position is that, having acquired the
citizenship of another country, neither you nor your wife is an Indian
citizen any more, and I presume that it follows from this that you
should _not_ use Indian passports - particularly in India!
How seriously the Indian authorities take violations, I don't know,
but I think there could be problems - for example, does your wife's
Indian passport still have a valid visa in it for the return trip? If
not, how is she to get on the flight back to Canada without divulging
her Canadian citizenship?
I'm _not_ an expert on this, but I suspect that you might be right to
be concerned....
