Usenet has changed dramatically due to the increased amount of
subscribers, but I still find this and my original group along with many
others useful as if you really need to know something, a newsgroup is
the place to ask questions.
I subscribe to quite a few and yes, the traffic is higher but likely the
percentage of OT likely isn't much different than before, just that
there's more of it. Kinda like when vehicles first came out...only the
die hards would buy one and drove responsibly. Compare that to today's
world ;-)
