Do note that I said that the visitors have valid visas.
So it is not that your hypothetical "guest" is showing up un-announced
and unwelcome at your hypothetical door !
Also, as a Canadian citizen inviting friends from abroad, I have every
right to inquire whether they have any right to legal representation or
not.
If you call this whining then so be it !
Me - I think it is my right being a citizen, and a taxpayer funding
this entire immigration system.
