Why shouldn't city police be able to deport illegal immigrants? They
are criminals, after all... and entering the country illegally or
breaking the terms of their visa is usually going to be a pretty open
and shut case.

If I went to a foreign country and broke their immigration laws I'd
expect to be put on the first plane home. Why should anyone else expect
anything different?
