Visa doesn't give right to enter Canada whatsoever.
Visa just a an effort to do the checking in advance. It will be up to
the border officer to take that pre-checking into account or not. Visa
should be considered as an "estimation" on whether the holder will be
allowed in or not, but not as a right at all.

I don't think just as a friend you have much right. If you are a
business try getting a business associates come it to finalized a
business deal, or getting a professional to assist you, you probably
have some.
