Subject: Citizenship app - is it normal to be asked to send this information? Posted on: Mon, 11 Jul 2005 15:23:53 -0400

Hi,

I applied for citizenship before Christmas. I received the
acknowledgement letter in May. Last week I received another letter
asking for a photocopy of my IMM1000 or PR Card, plus photocopies of two
other pieces of ID (e.g. driver's license and health card). Is this
usual? Are they just trying to confirm my continued residence?
