Hi there,
I am a Provincial Nominee, I submitted my PR application in September
and received my AOR last week, then today I received my IA indicating
that the interview has been waived and to proceed with my medical.
On my AOR last week the letter indicated that my application was placed
in a priority queue for assessment given the fact I was a Provincial
Nominee (thanks Jim for explaining this one).
I am super impressed with the speed I am experiencing here, within one
week I have received all of this communication from CIC.
Is this typical?, at this rate I guess I could have my PR visa stamp in
a couple of months?...
Any input is greatly appreciated...
My Timeline so far:
Provincial Nominee App: May 2005
Provincial Nominee Acceptance: June 2005
Permanent Residence App: September 2005
AOR: October 2005
IA: October 2005
Medicals: Will arrange to complete and return next week.
