The best is to have your child be born in Canada.
First thing and the most important thing to consider: where to reside. If
you reside in Ontario you must pay all the medical expenses since there is a
3 month waiting period for the health card, but if you land say in Alberta
there is no waiting period. So, hurry up! Your wife is allowed 35 weeks of
pregnancy to board an airplane (with doctor's consent).
I had the same case as you last year. Now, I am enjoying good life in
Canada.
