I will be heading out to Canada in a few weeks to take up employment on a
work permit. Due to the shortage of rental accommodation where we're going,
we're int he process of buying a house and selling our existing house in the
UK. One of the items that we're looking to bring with us is cane
conservatory furniture (our house in Petawawa has a conservatory/Florida
room), but have been advised by one removals firm rep that he's not sure how
customs would react to such items. Does anyone have any real world
experience of bring treated can / rattan furniture into Canada?
