I am Canadian and my wife is Filipina (landed Sept 2003). We are
expecting our first child in November.
We would like to bring one of my wife's sisters over to help us with
the baby for 6-12 months. Would it be better to apply for the Live-in
Caregiver Program or to have her apply for a Tourist visa? We would
provide for her expenses while over here.
Are there any problems/issues that I should be aware of when applying
for a Caregiver VISA for a family member?
Thanks for any help!
